League Assignment: Why? No, really. WHY?

This weeks assignment from The League is “Why? No, really. WHY?” Talk about an open ended topic.”  I guess I will have to flash back to a couple weeks ago…

Why oh why did i sleep in on Free Comic Book Day? For anyone who doesn’t know, Free Comic Book Day is a single day each year when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. It occurs on the first Saturday each year. If you get the chance next year, make sure to call ahead to your local comic book store to find out when they open, or you will miss out.

This year, they were giving away a free issue of The Walking Dead. Though y wife is not into the Zombie trend, My niece is a walking dead addict. So why did I sleep in and miss out on this free comic? I have no excuse.  That is all.

Ya very cool. I didn’t know about it either. My wife of all people read about it and told me. I am the geek in the family, so it was entertaining that I heard it from her.
