This week I get to rave about one of my more favorite times of the year. Horror Movie Fest. Somewhat aptley named, this time of year includes not only horror films, but slasher films, movies that mess with your mind, blood and guts and all that great stuff as well as some of those not so scary funny films made for this season.
So I guess I have to say, my biggest tradition is the horror movie fest every year. There are some films that always make it on the list, however I try to look up some old not so well known films too. This year I am adding some Borris Karlov movies to my collection. Should be an interesting addition.
A few years back, my roommate and I started lining up a list of movies to watch through out the month of October. Our best year I think we watched a total of 72 movies, Luckily we were roommates, because that would’ve meant one of us sleeping on the others couch for the whole month.
Since I got married last year, this year has been a bit more tough for us to get together, but I am aiming at a reasonable goal of 31 movies for the month. I am right on track so far. Check out the list of movies watched this year…

I love, love, LOVE The People Under the Stairs. So underrated.
Ya… Wes Craven really hit the nail on the head with that one…
